“There Too Go I”, a documentary about wartime work of the Canadian Red Cross
There Too Go I, a promotional documentary about the wartime work of the Canadian Red Cross, was first released in 1941. To contemporary viewers it will appear dated and at times rather comical and overly dramatized. However, the film provides a real window on the massive volunteer effort carried out by women and children in Canada during wartime. The statistical information and variety of services described is truly astounding.
